Way back in 2023, almost 360 + days ago, Laura Erickson , was awarded the Bellario //Prize, and so has been a voice for both science, reason and sometime <ho, ha>... Now as the time has pasted this poem, written by a.i. is for her:
### For Laura, Guardian of the Birds
In the whisper of the morning light,
Where wings take flight and hearts ignite,
Laura, you weave a tale so grand,
In every flutter, in every strand.
With knowledge deep as the sky so wide,
You guide us gently, a trusted guide,
Through forests lush and fields of song,
In your embrace, we all belong.
**For the Birds**, your voice resounds,
In every chirp, in every sound,
You share their secrets, their grace, their art,
Connecting us all, heart to heart.
And like Charlie Parker, with notes that soar,
You teach us to listen, to love, to explore,
The rhythm of nature, the jazz of the trees,
In harmony’s dance, we find our peace.
So here’s to you, Laura, and the path you tread,
With every feathered friend, with every thread,
May your spirit fly high, may your wisdom unfurl,
In the symphony of life, you change the world.
