Passing of Peter Catches, Zintala Oyate

The words seem strangely right at this moment:

Good friends we had
Oh, good friends we've lost along the way
In this great future you can't forget your past, so dry your tears

From Bob Marley, No Woman , No Cry

This was a difficult event for me.  Seriously pushed me,
to a difficult place, where the combination of fear,
grief, and anger collided in such a way, that my
body felt quite disconnected from my mind, like
my body was sending  signals ,,, we are not
going to listen to what you are telling us,
( body to mind/spirit ).... Peter taught me
a great deal about this connection.

I believe I was fortunate in this way, that I had
activities to attend, and so forth, so that line,
" this great future ",, kinds of applies
to how I was able to kind of walk away from
those emotions,,,but I just sort of walked away.

Those emotions are still there, I can't forget.

I know this time   now is difficult  for many.
All over, in many locations,  there is grief and despair and sadness,
and yet somehow we must " dry our tears ", seems
to rightly apply at this time, yet somehow that seems hard
now, as well  ..

I only hope we can continue struggle to meet this
" great future ", along our way.

I should have a great deal more to say,
but ,,, somehow, not now.
